Industrial Manufacturing Positions Available

Weaber is one of the largest hardwood lumber producers in the nation – a leader in flooring, wall boards, mouldings and more. We are a growing company that is always looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. 

Currently, we are seeking experienced General Laborers, Machine Operators, Production Supervisors, Forklift Operators, Large Lift Operators, Facility Maintenance, Millwrights, Manual Machinist and Truck Drivers (CDL) in the Hardwood Lumber industry. 

Select candidates must be highly flexible individuals and possess solid interpersonal skills allowing them to work effectively in a diverse, team, working environment.

You will work in our manufacturing operations with other employees focusing on workplace efficiency and product quality, while maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area through the implementation of 5S procedures. A knowledge of machinery and maintenance, plus an understanding of optimization and quality guidelines is a plus. Through a dedication to continuous improvements with special emphasis on safety, quality, environment, production and cost, you will be an essential member of the Weaber Team.

Finishing Line Supervisor

Weaber is one of the largest hardwood lumber producers in the nation – a leader in flooring, wall boards, mouldings and more. We are a growing company expanding our presence as a lifestyle brand. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to join our team.

Currently, we are seeking a Finishing Line Supervisor for our Makor Paint line. This is a working supervisory role with weekly hours of Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The Paint Line Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all paint related tasks while coordinating daily activities, scheduling paint line employees and maximizing utilization of equipment.

You will work with management and other supervisory personnel and team members, demonstrating a commitment to growth and achievement, overseeing the quality of painted board products according to customer specifications and equipment capabilities. Responsibilities include the implementation of 5’s Lean Initiatives to maintain a tour ready paint line.

The duties of the job require lifting and/or moving of 50 pounds. There is frequently twisting, bending, standing and movement throughout the department and facility. Ability to troubleshoot product related problems, manage and prioritize numerous concurrent tasks, delegate, and manage work. Must have a continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset. In this position you will have the opportunity to drive innovations in our painted products line, while taking pride in making showroom quality products that meet the highest level of customer satisfaction.

    Carpenter/HVAC

    Weaber is one of the largest hardwood lumber producers in the nation – a leader in flooring, wall boards, mouldings and more. We are a growing company that is always looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. 

    Presently, we are seeking an Carpenter/HVAC with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Responsibilities begin with the efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventative maintenance. The desired candidate will display the ability to service, repair, and install parts on tractor trailers, straight trucks, forklifts and other service vehicles.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, maintenance or electrical needs to meet production, safety and quality standards.
    • Troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize equipment downtime.
    • Document and log all required information accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
    • Coordinate with supervisors on issues as they arise that may negatively impact production or safety through adherence to established company and regulated safety procedures.
    • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
    • Inspect used parts utilizing rules, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
    • Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, hand/power tools.
    • Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instruments and equipment.
    • Maintain equipment, parts and supply inventories – anticipate future needs, place orders and verify receipt.
    • Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
    • Manage tools and equipment to avoid damage; account for tools at all times to avoid loss.
    • Maintain a clean, organized work area (including equipment) and environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

    Skills:

    • Mental reasoning and mathematical reasoning skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with supervisors and team members
    • Flexibility to work indoors and outdoors, adaptable to temperature changes

    Requirements:

    • Electrical experience 1 year preferred
    • Industrial maintenance 1 year preferred
    • Basic safety and power tool knowledge
    • High school diploma or equivalent
